Nick makes a lot of very valid points, moving to cross functional teams, adopting DevOps doesn’t mean cutting corners. What it means is enabling groups of people to be more cross functional, owning what they build and deploy.
Let’s move away from the old school thinking that passes code from developers to systems/operations teams to deploy.
